2. Any classes taught at co-op exist to supplement and support education which is already occurring in the home. If a student is consistently unprepared or disruptive, parents should expect to be approached by the teacher
3. If your child has had a fever in the previous 24 hours or is currently vomiting, has diarrhea, or a croupy/persistent cough please do not bring them to co-op.
4. Please make sure your student keeps their coats and backpacks picked up.
- Only items which are related to the ELCC group, or local homeschooling opportunities, should be posted.
- Please refrain from posting political items
- Posts should be wholesome, uplifting, and G rated, no profanity please
- If you need to reply to the sender of the post, rather than the whole group, please click 'reply to sender'
- Please call your teachers if you will be late or miss class, rather than posting
7. Please pay your class fees on time. If you will be unable to pay your fees on time, please contact us BEFORE they are due so that we can help make arrangements with you.
8. If you have items for sale, (ie books, scentsy, or clothing your child has outgrown) you can bring those and place them on/under the cafeteria counter with your name and price labeled. This is the only area which can be used for this purpose and must remain neat and not block the entry. Please limit this to a small display so that there is room for everyone. Think milk crate sized.
9. Moms who wish to socialize during a free period are encouraged to do so in the foyer or breezeway on either side of the gym to prevent disruption of classes.
10. ELCC does not refund fees for classes or registration. Class fees may be refunded at the teacher’s sole discretion unless a child is asked to leave a class due to unpreparedness or disruptive behavior, then no refund will be given.
11. Lunch is from 12:00 – 12:40pm and a short devotional and announcements will be given at that time. Feel free to pack a lunch, as we have refrigeration and microwaves at our disposal. playground monitors are not in place until 12:15pm and indoor/outdoor recess will be announced by the security coordinator. Please be sure to clean up your areas before going to recess.
12. Electronic devices (tablets, handheld games, DS) are great for recess/lunch, but not great for the classroom; please make sure they don’t go to class.
13. It is sometimes necessary to offer kind correction to a child, if you need to correct a child more than twice, please accompany them to their parents for further instruction.
14. Parents and Teachers are encouraged to be proactive in the safety of all children, the protection of our facilities, and in creating a peaceful and studious atmosphere for everyone.
15. Please do not prop open, enter or exit the building through any doors, except the main front doors which are monitored. There is a loading zone outside if needed and carts/people to assist you with loading and unloading.

There are instances where service hours may be forgiven/donated to another member. In the past we have forgiven service hours when a life threatening illness affected a family at co-op, when a member family lost a loved one or when a family had a new baby. Please communicate your needs to our secretary, we are here to help.
If your family would rather not complete and record service hours, you also have the option to ‘purchase’ your service hours at a rate of $10 per hour due. Please let us know if you prefer this option as these are billed at the beginning of the semester.
